question: favorite new TV show

thought i would change things up. instead of a poll, which is not very dynamic or flexible, i will create a post that can be commented and discsussed. i believe that this is called a "thread."

anyway, what is your favorite new TV show so far? i came across an article on digg that bemoaned the lack of quality thus far.

let us know.

for me, i gave fringe one chance and moved.

i do enjoy the mentalist and now that my tuesday nights are free, i may be more consistent.

The mentalist is a carbon copy of Psych...only with a bigger budget and less entertaining. This years winner for me is...Fringe. I did however stop watching it because it was terrible. I gave it 4 chances and it failed. Love to read that article because I agree. The only shows I watch have been around for a few years.

I do have some shows that could be chopped though. Chuck is close as is Eli Stone. If I chop those...what else will I do???

I love the mentalist, even if it is a Psych rip-off. This character is great and played extremely well.

I do like Chuck as well. Mindless entertainment. But entertaining nonetheless.

Everything else new blows. Crusoe was a big let down. Don't waste your time.

I am going to try to catch up on 30 rock (in reference to your Facebook update) and rewatch Studio 60 over Christmas.

It does seem that the quality has suffered from last year...

- Chuck
hasn't been great this year, they're trying to rehash all of last years tricks that made it great, now it's old. This past episode gives some hope. Adam Baldwin scratching out a 'Hi-C' priceless.

-Heros
Gave it two episodes and then no more. Lame, Dark, Lame, and more lame.

- House
Where is this going, I don't know but I don't want to go along. Tired, Tired, Tired. They may have jumped the shark with House kissing Cuddy. I haven't seen the episode after than one though.

- TSCC
Started watching the Sarah Conner Chronicles. Not bad. The plot is getting a bit convoluted and difficult to trust that they actually have an end in mind. Summer Glau pulls off the creepy cyborg quite well.

That's all I watch, and it's too much.

The Mentalist is the only show I am currently watching. I like it because it makes fun of all the other crime shows.
