Oasis is coming to the Palace next weekend. In the past, I would have been geeked to see them, but now, not so much. Maybe it is because I have seen them so many times in the past, or maybe it is because their output has diminished over time. Whatever the case, I'm not shelling out almost $100 to see them again.
So what about you? If you could go to one event or concert, what would it be?

Fleming and John, coming out of retirement, to do another show somewhere other than Nashville.
I didn't expect a Fleming and John reference, but that's cool.
I have always wanted to see Rage Against the Machine live.
That or bring the Bud Bowl out of retirement to compete with the Super Bowl.

for a concert, it would probably be black rebel motorcycle club or the dandy warhols.
as for event, a champions league final would be pretty sweet. ideally with united, barca or juve in it.
I would like to see Rufus Wainwright perform in front of a full orchestra. I've seen him, I think, 4 times now, but always just him and a piano, but his albums are so lush it's always just a tiny bit disappointing not to have the violins, harpsichord, percussionists, etc.
